(2) Cold simmering method: When the diameter of the general pipe is 20mm and below, use a hand-wrenched pipe simmer. The pipe simmer should be selected according to the diameter of the pipe, and it should not be large or small. When the pipe is simmered, put the simmer on the part of the pipe that needs to be bent (that is, the bending point), step on the pipe with your foot, pull the handle of the simmer, and exert a little force to make the pipe slightly bend. Then move the pipe simmer backward point by point and repeat the previous action until the back end of the bending part, so that the pipe gradually simmers out the required bending radius and bending Angle.


(3) When the pipe diameter is 25mm or above, the hydraulic pipe heater is used. The mold should be selected according to the requirements of the bending radius of the pipe. Put the drawn pipe into the mold of the pipe bender, align the bending point of the pipe with the bending point of the pipe bender, and then tighten the fixture. Use a template to measure the bending radius and bending Angle. It should be noted that the outer diameter of the bent pipe must be fitted tightly with the bending mold, otherwise the pipe will be dented.


(4) Hot simmering method: for the pipe with a large diameter, when the hot simmering method is used, the tube is filled with vibrated dry sand before simmering, and the two ends are plugged tightly. After heating on the oven or coke fire, bend on the mold.


When using gas welding to heat the simmering pipe, first draw a straight line section on the steel pipe, then draw the heating length L, first preheat the L part, and then start from the bending point, while heating and bending, the bending radius should be as consistent as possible to prevent wrinkles on the surface of the bending section. Because the Angle is reduced by about 2° ~ 3° after bending cooling, the bending Angle is slightly larger than the predetermined bending Angle by 2° ~ 3°, and the heating length L can be calculated by a simple formula: L=πdR/180=0.0175dR.

When simmering, it is necessary to master the heat, the steel pipe is not burned red and bent, and it is easy to bend and deflate if it is burned too red or red unevenly.


(5) Pay attention to the bending radius is not less than 6 times the outer diameter of the pipe, the bending of the steel pipe processing should not have folds, pits, folds and cracks, the bending degree is not greater than 10% of the outer diameter of the pipe, the bending Angle is not less than 90°.
